Verifying GSTIN of your Business

A person gets the GST number after registering his business under GST. A GSTIN is a GST number or GST identification number is a 15-digit PAN-based unique identification number allotted to every GST registered business. As a GST-registered business in India, you must to do a GST Number (GSTIN) verification before filling your GST Returns.



A single person can get multiple GSTIN, being an assessee under the Income Tax Act for every State or Union Territory in which such person operates from. If a business annual turnover crosses the threshold limit for GST registration must obtain GSTIN by registering a business under GST.

Verifying GSTIN helps to perform the following activities:
